Crazy lace agate pendant in the shape of a heart. When one looks at the shape of the stone and how it is set, it looks like a heart. Crazy lace agate is found in a relatively small area just south of El Paso, Texas in Mexico.  I obtain my crazy lace agate rough material from a friend who is a life-long rock collector and spends two weeks a year collecting agates in Mexico. The colors and patterns seen in the photo’s are completely natural. Although commonly referred to as ‘crazy lace agate’, there is another name for the stone, ‘lazy lace agate’.  Both names reference the random color patterns in the stone. Note, the stone shows a line in the upper right side.  This line is the natural coloring of the stone and not a crack or fissure.
