Called Sonora Sunset because it is mined at a copper mine in Sonora, Mexico. What makes this stone so ‘Southwest’ appearing is that is composed of all Chrysocolla (light green), Cuprite (red) and Tenerite (black). All of the colors and patterns are natural. I cut the stone and set it.
